Refused CWU Meeting Today

CWU meetings in the office I'm from have been refused in the past too. And for the similar reasons.
We just go outside and get the meeting done there.
It looks weird for passersby and folk going to collect P739 stuff from the office. More than a few thought we were on strike cause we standing on mass.

at least they're not spying on them like they were in 2003 and reporting everything on to Industrial Solicitors to attempt to prove that the CWU were in reality condoning UIA , then there was that " unfortunate " leak to " The Guardian & Star " .

My office has been refused CWU meetings for the past couple of years so all we do is meet up in the local pub and have the meeting there (not good if you're off the next day and can have more than one drink ).

Same at our office we just meet up at local comunity centres. THEY WILL NOT STOP US!

Another thing too consider is having a meeting on the premises concerning anything more than trivial matters could land you a charge of incitement by your DOM somethings are best said elsewhere!.

That was mentioned to the assistant rep obviously a tactic trying to scare us but to tell you the truth it doesnt bother either of us a trumped up charge of incitment as they no aswell as i do supsend the reps the office are out but that thought didnt even cross my mind as the proposal i had and needed the feed back of the lads in the office was more important to me at the time .It just sad to see r/m so fkin scared as to let the reps speak to the lads....................
