New(ish) Shift at Stoke MDEC

A new(ish) shift is being trialled at Stoke MDEC - 5:15-9:15 PM, which essentually consists of a lot of people from the 5:45 to 9:45 shift.

The number given to me is that over 50 people have jumped at the chance to start half an hour earlier.

Anybody any ideas how long they think this shift will last?

I think about three months.



PS - Anybody noticed that in the Smilies Leighton looks a bit like George W. Bush!!!

Do you actually believe "He" (note the capital 'H') would have a self-depreciating sense of humour. I've never seen any evidence of that in the real world. Also, do you really think"He" would post on RMC under that moniker. Come off it!!! Somebody is 'aving a laugh at his expense.

Heard nothing about the trial coming to an end. In fact, the trial is still going.

actually hes right.your the one who's wrong.the new shift was a trial due to end 11th of June but its carried on because it seems to be going well.It should be going on for a while, until management decide they feel the need to review the shift arrangement anyway.why post comments that are stupid and meaningless or is this just another dig at the union rep for something else you don't agree on?After all his post was 1st may and yours was only recently.surely you must of seen that or did you only post that to prove that you wanted a dig without actually having anything constructive to add to the thread with regards to the subject?

Good to hear that it (the new shift) is going well. The longer it goes, the better.

As per usual, the mail started to go quiet at the end of tonight's shift - proof that we clear the mail.
