looking forward to the prestigious occasion but i've noticed of late at WTL that they can't keep straight faces and laugh while reading out the propaganda. could be luring us into a false sense of security that they are on our side.

I see it in a completely different way - the more crap they are telling us - I think the better our position is and the more they are panicking. I am the only one to see it this way.

They have promised in the past the redundancies would be voluntary and would come with a good settlement. But we all know what RM promises are like.

If you truly enjoy this job, which I do, sometimes you have to take the rough with the smooth. Just stick it out if you believe you are doing the right thing, that's what got me through Bosnia and other dodgy periods of my life.

weasel

Post by vigilante »

little sniffling weasel in our place has been going round to part time staff
and shall we say the less voiced, and told them that half the office is coming in so it's alright.
Oh yes i forgot he is the oracle who sees all.
I shall be doing my best to put our side across to em as well.

as soon as they tell an obvious lie (which of course doesn't take that long at all) we all get up and walk out so our sessions are rarely more than 5 mins long anyway.

Our rep got accused of encouraging us to do this but as he quite rightly said "they just don't wanna put up with any more lies"

listen to this Crozier/Leighton coz pretty soon the whole workforce is gonna walk out on you if you keep lying and don't listen to them
