Someone needs a new calculator.
Run, rabbit run. Dig that hole, forget the sun.
And when at last the work is done. Don't sit down, it's time to dig another one

You're right...Could it be not only RM's figures that don't add up?IPS wrote:Someone needs a new calculator.
Mind you 1597 or 1607 is still too many, but there are thieves in all walks of life. A policeman recently arrested for selling bootleg CD's never mind the MP expenses scandal, which is a far higher percentage of thieves compared to RM.

I would imagine the figures would also include non delivery of junk mail/D2D - it's all jacked together with the all encompassing wilful-delay conduct. Not sure if there is even a 'theft charge' in royal mail and it all falls through WD. I may be wrong though.pinstripe wrote:You're right...Could it be not only RM's figures that don't add up?IPS wrote:Someone needs a new calculator.

But yes, it's still too many for my liking.

think the calculation is correct. 320 workers per annum = working days... 365 - bank holidays and 52 sundays.. second thoughts, should be on average 308
and here comes avi cohen! oh i say! at the same end, he's got one back!!

even so even 1600 over 5 years is still a damn good average
185,000 employees on average so its still less than 1% of the total work force, and below the national average if my maths is correct.
