And if you can, freeze them the night before, so they are ice cold when you need them, not luke warm.

It still will not stop royalmail from extracting it from us all in their greener than green moments while :cfo sups his ice cold lemon tea at his 10000 pound table with his ass perched on his 3000 pound chair in his air conditioned office in his IVORY TOWER!.

You're not serious about them thinking they're green are you?
Big Plasma Screens all over the Office, hundreds, possibly thousands, of Posties doing deliveries in their own cars. Including Jeeps, of all things. That's like claiming that New Labour is a Socialist Political Party! :funneh :chuckle

We have them at our place.
We were provided with a bottle each if we wanted them this week. The only problem is that we have nowhere to fill them, the only taps we have leave us no room to fit the bottle under and the drinking fountain, which barely trickles should be renamed to water garden due to what's growing in there.
Don't you have a tap at home??!!

Unless you freeze the water overnight, it's better to fill the bottle at Work, because the water will be colder. And if you do freeze your bottles of water. You'll get loads of condensation forming on them, soaking everything in your bag, in the process.

Yes, but then I'm providing the water at my cost! For crying out loud I can buy a bottle with water in for a little over ten bob and keep the bottle, a better one might I add, later for my own use If I was desperate for an effin bottle.

It's a little like them providing you with an empty BIC case and expecting you to provide the refills in order to perform a task which is necessary in order to complete your job, writing.

Be careful with those - In my last job we sold non return valves for outside taps as it was a legal requirement for water going through an outside tap not to contaminate the internal water supply. I would always check the tap first if its clean you'll probably be ok, if its not or there is fungus or insects/spiders all over it give it a wide berth. Chances are 99.9% of the time its safe but you never know.

Brrrh ! Fill your bottles from your own tap before you leave home. Some extra weight but at least you'll always know what you're drinking.

In our mail centre we have a little kitchen with all the facilities upstairs, but many of the tea clubs fill their kettles in the ground floor bogs, where there is a tap labelled "drinking water", but who knows what contamination there may be .... I truly do not understand this !
