Not bad on the packets but mail wise, very busy. All sorts of stuff today, DSA, utility bills, bank statements, you name it, we probably had it. Dry but warm and very humid day again.

Today at work seemed light but I had a lot of signed for items and lots of packets I couldn't get rid of so the day kinda dragged. On top of that some woman that was in a bad mood said she was gonna put in a complaint against me for stepping over the half foot high wall between her front garden and her neighbours :( I could understand if I trod on a flowerbed but both front gardens are all paving slabs.

Crap crap crap crap that's how I'd describe my day, out on delivery for 5 hours on a duty that should only be 4 ¼ hours even though it was a light day  :mad :mad looking forward to a drink soon (to be followed by another then another :Very Happy ).

Yeah they are really great. In layman terms it means you take 1 and a 1/2 walking deliveries worth put plus all parcels and overweights, 9 am spec , specs on overtime and bag drops, Oh and also dropping people off on your way out. In other words you get all the poo because you are privledged to drive a red van. Myself i am off driving as soon as a half decent walk come up and i can change. :nana
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........

Dreadful and I've only got myself to blame.

I signed for an item because I ran out of p739's and thought I was doing the customer a favour, Today I got in the office and they said the customer hasn't recieved the item and the signature isn't theres... What's annoying me now though is I can't remember if I posted the item to the correct address or even doing this but it is my handwriting so I obviously did.

Written warning?

I know I've done wrong and regret what I did... Just have to learn from it, I was told in future if I ran out of p739's to bring the item back and redeliver the next day.

Note to self never try and do customers a favour!

Had worse Mondays. Main problem was not enough on the IPS. Hardly any packets today.

Same here, quietish, but as we are so much down on good sorters for IPS, as they spend so much time throwing walks off, many of us failed to do the bit of lapsed walk we could have done had we not been spending that time catching up on the IPS.
