Just to get back to the original point, in legal terms ,this is a point of jurisprudence over practise ,so the general point of the illegality of fixing 1hr contracts when say 10 hr shifts are routinely required ,applies equally to 30hr contracts when 40hr shifts are regularly required. Part timers who do regular OT , Awake arise or be forever fallen :chuckle :chuckle

theirs 3 1hr workers or former 1 hour workers in my office wishing to take royal mail for our holidays that we are rightly due, just wondering whats the process in making a claim against them? should i send a letter detailing hours i worked and the government entitlement (law) i am due and request the money? and if no response, citizens advice/solicitor??
