Wish our reps would do a deal so we could get out early, one seems to be in bed with the DOM and the other seems to have no interest anymore.
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet

Easy day yesterday, no missort run, 3 mech bundles, a few letters, the flats i could carry with one hand. Out for 8:15am and back for 11:00am
Probably going to suffer for it today... but I'm hopeful..

Out to my time again today (and that's with an hour taken off me
), the heat is totally draining me and causing me to go a lot slower than I would normally.

Busy day today. Packets were ok, but the mail was heavy. Waited around in the office for a bit due to a delay with the missorts, only to be told to go out because they had 13! yes 13! boxes for us at the mail centre.
Very hot and humid, everybody seems to be coping for now, but this won't last if the heat continues.

No offence but if the water was bubbling in your bottle it would of been 100 deg celcius, then again you could be joking and I might of lost the plotnorfolk n chance wrote:crap day today, loads of mail and with the intense heat the water in my bottle was bubbling![]()

Well cut off today for the first time in three weeks, Did not have the problems informing the manager that I usually have, in fact it was rather easy which is suppicious in its self. Good job I did cut off as with the heavy load today and excessive heat still went over my time.

I had the same problem with it running into my eyes. Its the worst bit when you stop walking and stand at a door with the sun blazing into your back
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
bloody hot today in fact the past three days was BLOODY hot, I took to wearing a hat, its the only way to protect my head, we got held back for a huddle about new ways of working, ended up going out late, waste of time really, son of starburst returns, nobody thinks it will work neither do I, too many pitfalls, just like last time, so we are hoping the idea will be kicked into the long grass, ended up feeling tired, sometimes, I couldn't put the full effort in the Gym due to the heat, if I go home I just fall asleep.
In the old days, goodI am old, we used to start at 5am and finish before 1pm before the heat gets worse, these days I am out in it later and its killing.

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
Thursday and today were both really busy again. Packets were not quite as bad today. Numbers on the IPS are up and down and we started walk lapsing this week. Chucked it down today, but doesn't seem to have cooled things down that much.
