You would never believe what one of these managers come out with today on the subject of overtime,we should be gratefull for the fact we have a job and so we should give RM any of the time we work over our duty hours for free,i think you could guess what the answer back was

We are told that we can only book OT if we inform a manager before we go out. Of course, you dont always know what time you'll finish. Most of the time we can make an educated guess.
Then it's "well Thorby, none of your colleagues are claiming OT, so why are you ?" The correct answer is that most of them have been harrassed into accepting the situation, but that doesn't go down too well.

Just spilt stain-remover down my shirt. Now how do I get that out?

I had this, , if you are confident enough that you are going over, you can challenge the Lino to come out with you, chances are they will back down, if it means proving them wrong, in fact if its a heavy duty every day, you can ask them to come out with you EVERY DAY, if everybody in the alleyway does this, it would be like chinese water torture, drip drip drip drip drip

Re: Overtime grief..
Overtime dockets have been removed from our office, and it wouldn't surprise me if its happening all over. This tactic of removing dockets and hiding it away is only going to cause problems. It's bullying in my books that a dom can't accept you booking o/t and is telling you to do more than your fair share of the workload.
As a result of not booking o/t the dom has in our office been doing our work...that includes sorting frames in the morning. The dom this morning was helping me box in my frame, and said "the mail today is not to bad"
...well if it isn't to bad why are you standing next to me then?
Walks are now longer due to this pegasus review in our office...they say it will take you 3.5hrs, we say it will take 4hrs...they won't listen though. The only solution to this on going problem is work to your time.
