Plasma screens-not very green

Post by terrace »

Plasma screens -total waste of energy and money.
read reports-

Especially appropriate when switched on all the time.Amazing when you consider Royal Mail have supposedly gone green energy wise as well as in some transport matters.
All that has now gone down the tubes, absolutely no saving environmentally or financially.

We've got two in 7oaks,one on shop floor other in canteen(which they have now shut,so nobody goes in there!)
both have never worked, the one on the shop floor was mounted on a different beam to the plug socket,so could'nt
even turn it on DOH!
our H/S rep also told us they should'nt be on the shop floor, incase someone walks into someting while their watching
it!
Compo claim anyone?

Ours arrived 2day, what makes me laugh it has been placed near a rest area where a television was removed as management was concerned that keyers were not having adequate breaks from looking at screens. Now we have not only a large screen but Royal Mail Propoganda to boot. :mad :mad :mad
