WHICH UNITS OR AREAS ARE HAVING BALLOTS OR IA

Post by TrueBlueTerrier »

Just starting a thread so we can get an overall picture of which offices, areas or functions are requesting a Rule 13 Ballot, or having one, or indeed have had one and are starting Industrial Action.

If you prefer not to post the information yourself then please PM me with as many details as possible.

For Instance: Office or Area covered

Function

Rule 13 ballot requested and how far along. Ballot to take place, result (if known), type of action etc

Reason behind it.

Any information will help show individual offices that though they have had an office only ballot there is actually a lot of offices in the same position.

Thetford delivery office in Norfolk have already been on strike twice during the last month. I was told last week that Ipswich have voted massively in favour of a strike. Who agrees that what we really need is a national industrial action ballot asap? The CWU has got to stop being so timid, as it seems most of us are up for a fight. There's bound to be a few pathetic strike breakers turning up as usual, but they're lower than a snake's belly anyway!

WALTHAM CROSS HAVE REQUESTED A BALLOT
Surely as a union we should call a national ballot?
or have our leaders lost touch?
to strike one office at a time weakens the union and dilutes the effect
its easy for RM to manage and control one office at a time

Lucky it wasn't Glasgow MC, all those ballots would've been opened and changed :nervous
