The Royal Mail hasn't been the same since they sacked me for crossing a picket line and working as normal. It was the left wingers at the WDO that conspired against me. It was a good thing because now I have a proper job and I no longer have a drink problem.

Where did you get that from, I can't really believe RM would sack someone without cause...............................oh wait it's RM we're talking about still it's nice to see he's got over his drink problem

thought a drink problem was prerequisite for managers especially in DC's & MC's . Think that picture was taken at one of :lfo or :cfo 's Presentation do's

Forget internal disciplines and sackings, these people should be facing criminal charges.

So essentially five senior management of the Royal Mail have been caught obstructing the Queen's mail. Why have they not been sacked and prosecuted by the police?

It is NOT an "internal" matter – this is OUR mail that has basically been stolen. These managers should be facing criminal charges over this, just as any postman would.

Agree with the consensus. This is criminal. The consequences for thousands of people's lives are potentially vast, for important mail going astray. The culprits should be made examples of.

I just hope that these managers are no longer managers, they should be demoted to posties and should never be able to taken on another management role within RM. What they have done is wilful delay of mail and how many posties are sacked each year for this.

The sad things is none of these people will be sacked .One has been moved to glasgow mail centre on a special project and the rest are still on the payroll

Would that be the " Let's count how many pillar boxes we have " special project or the " We are short of managers at Edinburgh Airport " special project or perhaps the " We need more managers on Sunday overtime " special project.
