We have one in my office who minces around every morning asking for lapsing, every morning in a loud voice so that everyone can hear but he gives RM about 1½ hours everyday for free .

Thats an easy one. The biggest Tossers are the strike breakers that broke the picket line. And now winge everyday about Royalmails version of flexibility, lapsing, absorbsion use of Telemetry vans and every other bulshit stitchup term since . The rest of us just laugh at them.

How about this. A guy at our office gladly crossed the picket line in 2007, and took the £400 on offer.

Yep, we have encountered the same thing in our office. strike breakers saying "we need to stick together". Needless to say it gives us full opertunity to take the P#ss out of the morons. I distinctly remember one woman clapping and jeering when the wagon turned up to drop off mail during the strike. Lets just say she aint laughing anymore. Now she is first to run up to the Boss and cry about being hard-done-by. F&ck em all, thats our moto. We are stronger with unity !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No, they're the ones that really need to only work their hours to try to force RM to give people proper contracts.

this is exactly what RM wanted with all those AG's or " glorified casuals " ever since the way backward agreement . It also had a lot to do with the ballot failing by 1.8% in 2003 , then RM giving it's managers the green light to attack reps thereafter . London saved the union then , it was on it's knees , RM had Ward sent for like a naughty schoolboy .

back then , the attitude was why go on a picket line with people that wanted AG's through the door so they could stitch the overtime up . RM threatened AG's on London weighting strikes that their contracts would be terminated if they went on strike - F***ing disgraceful bullying :lfo :cfo

Like everyone else ive met a few over the years.
At the moment we have one guy who refuses to support the union and worked through the last batch of strikes. Comes in 45 min early runs around like a headless chicken with a rocket up his arse. But the best bit was when he picked a delivery a while back only to find he could not fit 8 pouches into the boot of his Corsa, so what did he do, use a bike ? Nope the knob went out and bought a Renault Kangoo van and now uses that .

Oh we have another postie who often washes the gov's car on his meal break. No i dont know why either

we have full and part timers who come in up to an hour early for NOTHING...one even comes in early and just tidys up empty boxes and yorks, so when you come in you cant find one anywhere...anyone from Shirley DO, Southampton will know who I'm on about...

I come in bang on 6.30 and no earlier, use the vans, do the job right, it actually made my life a lot easier as I don't get anything added on to me, unfortunately I would say 85 % in my Office comes in early and nearly 95% uses their cars.

not a lot me or the Union could do about it, so I just get along and take it easy, make sure I don't overwork or stress myself.

Some funny replies in this topic. I hate the staff mostly the part timers who say they will start on time and after 2/3 days they start coming in again a hour earlier. The stupid idiots have there walked thrown up for them if they come in on time so whats the point in coming in early
