don't believe this.. home shirt from last week has been refunded. so i needed a replacement from elsewhere. won a similar shirt on sunday, it arrived this morning 15 minutes ago. lol, i heard a knock on the door, when i got to answer, the posty went round the side door and as he was coming back up, he said he's left it by the door for me.. now, if i wasn't here just like he thought there wasn't anyone in cos the front door wasn't answered, meaning if i wasn't here at all, he would have left it there anyway. on the doorstep.

opened the packet, took the shirt out, nice looking shirt. not quite as mint as described but i'd say excellent. then it caught my eye. lose stitching around the collar. actually, no stitching in some parts argghhhhhh. here we go again tut

which begs the question - why do you want a football shirt unless you're in the team or going to a fancy dress party ?

I could understand somebody wanting a retro shirt from the 50's to the 70's , it's a classic thing which won't go out of fashion . At a push , I might be able to understand fanatic collectors who have to have the full range .

However I saw a documentary on football kits , maybe it was the 90's or so , and they were designed by middle aged housewives , I don't think they were a threat to Stella McCartney or Armani etc , basically people were paying £30-50 for a awful ( sometimes ) over sized polyester t - shirt which was out of fashion in 6-7 months and would end up on the car boot or in a charrie shop .

All to milk money out of people .

I notice the England Team Manager Fabio Capello and his staff had the England shirt redesigned , as you'd imagine with things Italian ; they'd want something with a bit of style , not some chavvy thing with stupid stripes , patterns etc . It ended up looking like a retro tailored Fred Perry shirt .

Capello's argument was I've made sure they look the part now there is no excuse . I notice the Italy shirt has been virtually the same classic design over the years .

if i want to buy a liverpool shirt, it is my choice, my freedom to buy it.

but these people who are not truthful are taking away my sense of freedom and well being by attempting to rip me off

probably be the next RM uniform , stuck in that era at the very best though they tend to go back a lot further

best not wear it as an uniform.. kids will take the p!ss, staff will get psychological problems, and it would set dogs wild and attack at no mercy
