DOMs suck

I ve worked for some who were good and quite a few who were poor and one who was a real B******D.

About 10 years back one of our posties suddenly got really bad chest pains as he was bagging up and looked terrible, pale and sick. By the time the ambulance arrived he was having trouble breathing (i was crapping myself thinking he was going to die) the paramedic was trying to fit an oxygen mask and the damn DOM was in the way going through the poor sods pockets trying to find his drop box keys The paramedic had to get really strong with him to get him out the way so they could get him in the ambulance but the fool did not stop till he found the stupid keys . I could not believe it
Thankfully it was only a mild heart attack and iam still working two frames down from the man today.

Tell me about it he was a real S**** head just 23 years old and new more than a 40 years service man etc.

He used to do the friday night watch on OT where he would refuse to talk to anyone but was always more than willing to help out on the packets.
Then CD / Videos started going missing when ever he was on, one night bloke saw him taking packets into his office and told the UCW rep who informed the I.B. They turned up one sat morning with the area SOM and did a search and found loads of stuff hidden in his car. We had him for 2 crap years and never saw him again after that (thank god) i was just glad to see the back of him.

Could do with one to highlight the systematic abuse of Workers, unrealistic postal deliveries, the sheer pointlessness of it all, someday it will all collapse like a pack of cards, there is only so far it can go.

I've just wrote a letter to adam crozier regarding the bullying that I'm getting. If my Dom finds out they will try even harder to get rid of me. Iv'e had alot of jobs over the years and I have never worked in a place where you get so much crap. What would they do to me if I actualy done something wrong.

I'm sorry but :cfo is the one giving the orders as everything is top down by dicktat , they want people softened up and the stuffing knocked out of them for privatization ( a " culture " change ) ; which means degrees of and forms of bullying .

Don't get me wrong , it's disgusting and they'll see female staff as soft targets .

Crozier's sole concerns are making sh** shine and getting his snout in the trough . Dim Dums were intended to be :lfo 's mouthpieces , his seminars against the CWU were allegedly like something out of Nuremberg .

Shadow im with you on this one although it would be hard losing pay but some times you just have to stand and fight no matter what the cost

Feels like i'm on my own sometimes. I just wish I had others in the same fight. It's mostly the long termers that stand their ground.But it's them thats keeping me right. Learning as I go.
