the problem with management is that few from top till bottom have actually done the job,they know all about computers and budgets but no experience about working on the streets or in mail centres.
the biggest problems just now for instance is that the tool called pegases is a complete failure but will they admit it no they will just carry on making a complete arse of everything because they wont admit when they are wrong.

I watched this documentary on Broadmoor on Virgin Central Cable , a Senior NHS manager said what he did was turn up there and say he was a student nurse to be used as required on the wards .

Apparently to pass out as Charge Nurse you have to put time in on the wards whilst you're at technical college . Then armed with that experience there was reforms and changes which is better senior management , he did mention one problem was that the nurses and orderlies etc were members of the POA - Prison Officers Association , he mention that the POA did a lot for it's members which was fair of him .

Saw another one on the NHS with Gerry Robinson , his record isn't that good , ITV digital went bust which wasn't surprising as Watford v Preston North End or similar on a tuesday night is hardly going to pack them in the pubs countrywide .

However he did talk to the Nurses , the girls voiced their concerns , the consultants and the managers that couldn't manage and didn't like Robinson going round the hospital at all .
Better than that " only we know best " arrogant attitude & " only we have the answers " and that's the CMA line ! .
