I wouldn't mind extra ones as long it is already prepared for us.

But isn't the payment for preparation not delivery, so you would be doing them for nothing ?Carew wrote:I wouldn't mind extra ones as long it is already prepared for us.

Re: Door to Door Limit
Thats what my Lineo says that we are paid for preparation, but he can't answer the question of why we get paid different amounts based on size and weight. Weight won't have an effect of prep but it does on delivery.Lounge Lizard wrote:But isn't the payment for preparation not delivery, so you would be doing them for nothing ?Carew wrote:I wouldn't mind extra ones as long it is already prepared for us.

As far as I know, Yes, but can anyone quote the document that might confirm this ?Throgg wrote:So if i prep them all on Monday morning, then go sick for the week, i get paid for them, but the guy who has to cover my duty while i'm off sick has to deliver them for nothing? But isn't the payment for preparation not delivery, so you would be doing them for nothing ?

Re: Door to Door Limit
You can find the Door to Door agreement in the DOWNLOAD section in the UNION ROOM. I hope you will find your answer in there.
As far as I am aware the D2D payment is for the delivery. RM claim that the prep is to be done in your own time, but the agreement implies otherwise. It is another of those grey areas that RM like to exploit to their own advantage.
You can always ask your DOM to provide the evidence to back any claim he makes in respect of D2D's. If he does not produce the agreement available in the Download section then he is being 'economical with the truth' at best!

D2D is prepped in R.M. time @ 20% per day. As for what managers say, they are unable to tell the truth as they are all LIARS.

Re: Door to Door Limit
how long before payment of d2d is stopped altogether , they are already stating how much mail has dropped ,given no pay increase ,they will do anything to reduce costs at our expense.
