In the mail centre it was the managers son who was caught stealing. He was asked to resign, and that was it, no police, prison, community service. Before that you could often see him on the computer looking at bbc news on the internet for long periods whilst others had to carry on and sort packets right beside him. He didnt even have to apply for overtime, like everyone else, he just had to show up and it was guaranteed. He took a buy down but easily made up the 40 hours until the stealing.

In my office the last four,yes four guys who have been caught stealing have all resigned with no further action being taken.

In my office the last four,yes four guys who have been caught stealing have all resigned with no further action being taken. I'm not sure if someone somewhere is pulling strings to save the company getting a bad name but it does seem to be happening everytime.There was one guy about eight years back who got the jail,3 months I think it was.

No surprise really, RM have got rid of the crook without all the expense of the court case and without RM getting all the bad publicity in the press, all that's missing is it being made clear to the rest of us being what can happen if you theive.
