Max packet weight for a pouch is actually in the first post of this thread - its the bottom right page and its *.first_class_stamp wrote:Does anyone know where I can get a download of the universal service obligation or know anything about the max. packet weight for a pouch?
As to the USO i will try and find the specific document it it exists but I don't think it does. IIRC its a compilation of documents, laws and directives that actually result in the USO.

Re: uso packet and size
Thank you for replying TrueBlue
After reading this thread I have spoken to my manager, union rep and area health and safety rep about the max packet weight for a pouch and none of them knew. They have all gone away and come back to me with different figures manager said 20kg, union rep. said 16kg, area health and safety rep. said 11kg.
I have mentioned the 1.2kg weight limit stated in this thread but nobody will acknowledge this as a weight restriction. I would need the actual document this memo came from to get the weight limit enforced in our office. If I could it would force our manager to put more hours back in our office so if anyone can help please please do :)
