Post by somerset »

Do you like getting up at four in the morning? Working in all weathers? Like dogs? Do you own a small van? Willing to earn up to £17,000 a year. Then come and join us at Royal Mail, delivering leaflets and addressed mail to everyone in UK on behalf of DHL and TNT. You must have GSOH ,100 % health record, and accept a lifestyle of being an idiot working for two idiots? Application forms available at your local post office (usually within ten miles of your location) or at your village post office (usually open once a month Tuesday mornings) REF NUM 739 [/b]

That's really good.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

The biggest laugh is the fact that the recruitment process shows that even Royal Mail don't have any faith in Royal Mail anymore. The whole thing is done from the website, and emails. Nothing gets posted, so RM don't even beleive in themselves anymore.
