Well when van share comes in you won`t have this problem. :wave
You will, they won't both be ready to leave in the van at the same time, then they will be walking round at different paces all day, and that's before one moans about the others driving, singing, BO, etc., it'll all end in tears.

Surely with a bit of cooperation between the two something can be sorted out so that nobody is unduly inconvenienced.
not sometimes,it's been stated the walker waiting DAILY, the driver doing bulk and specials before dropping bags off.ohh and god forbid a walker working his time, then the drivers get thier arse up and try as hard as they can to rush them. :Boo hoo!

the OP doesnt make it clear if this affects his ability to complete the duty, as annoying as it can be to wait unless it is affecting your ability to complete on time I dont see much grounds for taking this further. However, there can be some steps you can take to lessen the annoyance (if you dont do these things already)

- ensure you take you meal break before you leave the office (i saw another poster saying you should take it while waiting - ABSOLUTELY NOT !)
-work at a normal pace (if you ARE currently rushing around - you know the driver will be late anyway so you might as well make this work for you)
-consider the use of a hct or trolley, you can take 2+ bags at a time and its less weight on your shoulders.

if however this is causing a problem with you actually completing your delivery without having to rush around (because of lost time waiting) on time the correct procedure in my mind would be-

1. in the most courteous way ask your driver if there is a problem getting bags to you at the time you request
2. make a note of his response
3. dont rush because of late drop bags, if this then causes you to fail delivery, return mail at the end of the duty and state the driver being unable to get your bags to you on time as the reason for your failure to complete.
