Doesn't matter at all to you. You haven't got what you paid for, and shouldn't have any problem getting refunded from Paypal, as long as you send it back recorded. It's up to the seller to deal with RM.

I sell quite a bit and I always refund as soon as there's a problem. Then I take it up with RM (or just forget about it if its just a fiver).

In my experience, Paypal usually go with the buyer in straightforward cases like damaged goods.

yep, i didnt listen to him and thought he was passing the buck when he said that. its been returned today recorded. if he claimed damages, rm only pay out on the item and not the item and the postage, so would have lost that part, even when he sent it first class when i paid first class recorded to him/her.

whats all this with mrs doubtfire?

on the rm compensation form, why does it ask if a person is the sender or the recipient making the claim?

if it is always said that only the sender can make a claim, it doesnt make sense to me why that tick box is there.

probably i'll have to wait a month to get my cash back. only if the seller had not decided to pocket the extra quid and used the recorded, the events would have been different. there would have been a knock, the package would't have been put through the letterbox.

it was a daft thing to do though.
