Over here it's a method of identification for those f***wits who like beating the crap out of people (except Man Utd fans who deserve all they get :angel ).

I have several MU Shirts - one commemorating the Champions League win last year in a nice velvety box which cost more than £100 - it is in a glass case and I use a liverpool shirt to keep the glass clean

if i see another book of stamps..i'll ram them so hard up their....... :cuppa

i've put it through paypal to sort it. stuff it. makes things a bit less stressful.

lol, i collect football shirts. some people collect programmes or other souvenirs. i wouldnt mind replacing one or two of my old ones that have become worn

i had an email from the seller today..you won't believe what he said. he said to me, he has had a word with ebay and paypal and he said that they said it's the recipients responsibility to make the compensation claim... i replied bolix, the contract is between the sender and the courier.
and he said something else that i won't repeat just yet...

the seller cocked up to start with. the postage cost was £3.50 recorded delivery. he cut corners and posted unrecorded first class £2.14.
do you know what i'm thinking of, was the trouble with unrecorded packages that went missing, and thats when books of stamps were issued..
maybe there is a better chance of compensation cos i had received it.. but it's still up to the sender to sort it out, and if he doesn't do anything, i'm stuffed. unless paypal reimburse me.

question is, how the heck does someone prove it was rm that caused it to be damaged? the seller is adamant that the shirt was mint prior to sending.
the situation is circumstantial at the moment only on my findings, marks on the shirt and the tear in on the envelope front. envelope wider than the letterbox, postie shoves it through, causing the damage on the shirt.

or was the shirt already damaged prior to sending and the seller pulling a fast one? or what even if it was laying in a yorkie and a sorter threw a heavier package and the edge caused the wack?

whichever version is, im nine quid fity out of pocket. looked like the seller was not interested in paying up, so it had to go to paypal and escalate the claim. so it'll be a month or so of messing about tut
and here comes avi cohen! oh i say! at the same end, he's got one back!!

ok doke matey, gotcha, you can give a Negative feedback, but do it before the deadline expires, as once the feedback listing goes over a certain date it would not be possible to leave one.

im not really into the boxed shirts costing a mint.. one reason is, how do you know if the material inside the box is sound? and as soon as the shirt is taken out of the box and the seal broken, the value of it has been wiped off in a flash.

2001 cardiff fa cup final shirt i wouldnt mind getting. embroidered one not transfer. and not the 2001 comemmorative winners one

Opening the box and actually wearing the shirt - sacrilege - it is a limited edition - it isn't for wearing, no no it is for complete adulation on its altar to the Gods of football.

I forgot to add I am currently wearing my MUFC pyjamas, matching underwear, socks and slippers ready for bed which is of course covered by an MUFC King size duvet cover, no guesses as to why it is king size, on my silk MUFC logo printed sheets and matching pillow cases, at the side of the bed is a bedside light with an MUFC lampshade whilst my current reading is MUFC and The Theatre of Dreams - which I have now read 67 times, in fact I don't even open the book now - I tell the wife I am going to give her something if she choses a number from 1 to 297 - I then proceed to recite verbatim the text from that very page - until we fall asleep

rofl at slippers..

just been having a bit of a spring clean. washed four shirts. 97 away (why i bought it i'm not so sure - yellow away) 98 away, 92 home, and my 1978 home. hasnt been washed for around 20 years lolz. looks small though. makes me think was i that size then? tsk..

anyway, went to the s.o, mentioned that it's possible that the damage had occured, and pointed it out that the package is approx 50mm wider than the letterbox, and it was pushed through, possibly causing the tear in the packaging that resulted in damaging the content.

guess what? i was told to go to the post office and fill out the compensation form and post it off to plymouth, where they'll give you a little book of stamps.
then i said, it's the recipients responsibility to claim the compensation..

oh well, happy fookin days
