Is your Saturday time later than it was before the strike's of October 2007 because all Saturday times should be as they were before the action!. every other day is a differrent story though!.

Some need to stop being so narrow minded.
What on earth makes you think the business will have you delivering beyond 2:30

If you ask me, (and i know you're not) an 8 hour shift will be delivery till 2:30-3 O'clock then a firm or box collection or indoor work.
No one will be delivering at 4 or 5 or nearly 6 mind you though if you are it would be missorts and you'd be in a van because of the size of the area you'd be covering.
Confused... You won't be, after the next episode of. SOAP

i get the impression that those who feel they will be working 5 or 6 are all going to be employed on their current contractual hours.
Later starts will involve job losses. The question is will it be yours.
The potential of hybrid duties could mean a loss of earnings for delivery staff. This change in hours may suit some and not others thus some may leave turning f/t into p/t.
Family friendly means different things to different people, furtunately RM have enforced their interpretation of family friendly on us all and that is changing with the wind.
In 07 it meant later starts under the guise of slower vehicles, today it means later starts because we've thrown our arms open wide to RM's style of management and are too scared to defend ourselves. Tomorrow it means later starts because the majority of jobs out there are 9-5 anyway.

FFS don't be afraid to make a decision, you do have a choice.
If you are prepared to represent yourself and your colleagues and defend yourself you may get what you want.
If you don't you will get what you're given, if anything at all, then you'd better be glad of it.
Confused... You won't be, after the next episode of. SOAP
