Got a letter 2 weeks ago bout my Learning for all payments finishing this week,ok,no probs, final payment of £30.00 to come out on March 3rd.
But it came out this week instead :mad Phoned payroll or what ever they're called and they said to me that there had been a printing error on some of the letters and that the final payments we're coming out this week instead.
When i asked why didn't they inform me of the change they said that they send out about 300 letters a day and it was hard work to sort out.
They changed the date when they realised but just couldn't be arsed to send out new ones.
So what chance have we got :d'oh!
So now i'm 30 sobs down this week,which i wasn't expecting :evil/mad

c***s
:mad

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Im not 100% sure, but cant you ask them for a cheque for the difference, im sure when something similar happened to someone here, that they were sent a cheque and any deductions were taken out the week after, after all its their b***ck, so tell them you cant afford to be that money down, and see what happens.

I took advantage of both offers, the computer and the bicycle, I believe that both are to end this year sometime...

I hope they don't muck me about.

Checked today with a couple of lads in the know, one who it happened to, you can ask them to issue you with a giro cheque for the amount, to cash at any PO.

I did it earlier today ,weren't too sure what a giro "cheque" was though, but seeing what you've just said, that's handy.
I should get it tomm,or at least Mon.
Piss takers though,and lazy bastards.
Cheers.
