Correct

and it has been achieved by cutting duties, lapsing sick , cutting SA and other costs cutting measures from our wonderful bullies ..............oops I mean managers
That's strange because my office did all those things and was still overspent :chuckle :chuckle :chuckle

But on a lighter note, there will be NO lapsing from me this year (I only did it 5/6 times last year) because I've now worked out how to stay out to my time and will only do the lapsing AFTER I've come back off my own delivery

We got £304.
But for the last 6 months we've been working like beavers and splitting walks a few times a week.
Called gaffer all names under the sun but :)
I dunno if it was worth it but its come at a good time for me.Especially on top of the election crap.Got a decent wage slip for a change.

The thing is, you'll now be 'working like beavers' for f-all. As the 50/50 is now finished. So now that you have shown that the work can be done, and money saved from your office, you'll lose hours and have to do the work for sweet FA. Good luck !

We really didn't have any choice.
Mail had dropped off and we were told to split walks.Dunno how we could really have got out of it.We were tied up for half 8 and even after a break we still had time before the missort van.
You can't limp round the walk and say "not got time m8" when the manager knows for a fact how long they take.
I agree with you but what can we do?.

Trouble is in an office of "grafters" you don't have any choice.
The bloke who covers your round gets done in 3 hours and you look a right liar when you try and say it takes 4.People want to get out and get home and you're stood there an hour after they've gone out still bundling up.
I try and do the job to the book but sometimes i have to take extra bits of walks out cos tbh i am going to make time. But in our office its hard to slow time because so many people enjoy doing 4.5 hours work in 3.5 and still getting home early.
Our office just wants to run round no matter what the long term cost.
If you talk while sorting, throw off at a normal speed and get done late and claim, you not only get the manager on your back but these run around sue's also having a go at you.Because if you don't work at 120% they wont get out early and if you claim they wont get as much bonus.

We didn't get any 50/50 share but the managers are reported to have received £3000 apiece - there was also a WTL today stating the precarious financial position that RM find themselves in coupled with a video - oh and we started lapsing duties this week - so we have managers coining it in, no 50/50 share for the workforce, no pay rise, and extra work - life is certainly on the up and up whilst the cash is on its way down. :evil/mad
