Really really heavy today with lots of cut-offs and lots of o/t. Manager phoning around to see if people would come in on their day off (not much response there)

We were told that election mat. had to be out by wednesday (yesterday) have'nt started yet as no time to prep it.

Still thank goodness mail volumes ar falling and our new 4.5hr duties are working. :left: :wave :nana :mfo

Terrible day today, really heavy. The conservative leaflets were in today, my sixth party, so made a start. Absolute chaos in the office. :Very Happy We found out that some had 2 or more per house for these, which should bump up the payment a bit. Day started with a bit of rain which cleared about noon and the sun shone for the rest of the day. Oh and I found out we are getting 4.65p per item for the election leaflets.

Really heavy, had about 12 mech bundles to start off with :arrrghhh loads of Election Postal Vote forms, then had to finish off the normal D2D's, followed by nearly 500 Tory D2D's. At least the sun was shining.
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

Crap day. Heavier than yesterday. Loads of National Trust mags. Cleared most of the remaining election leaflets. Bad for packets too. Weather was terrible most of the day.

Just about the heaviest day since Christmas on my round with 11 satchels of mail and packets and I am knackered - if our mail volumes fall any further we will need a bigger office. Weather was awful and I went over 1:45 which will come off our new non rewarding, non participatory budget scheme :Very Happy
Still, on the bright side, I have a Saturday to look forward to with all my election material and all my National Trust mags already delivered so all I will have to contend with is the usual 3 boxes of DSA and a packet bag the size of the Isle of Wight. Have a good weekend folks - you all deserve it.
We wish to serve - but we will not be servile

Busy, but not as bad as I thought it would be. Packets were not too bad either. Should make up for it during the week. :chuckle

Rammed again

Bleeding studio - Christmas is 6 months away why are you sending multiple copies of your catalogues to the same house. :evil/mad

Would have been a very good day but ended up with 8 bags all to their limit in weight.
