Although "Gat" is a slang term for a personal weapon on the forces, one end of which has a poor H&S record especially with Postal workers in the USA. :Very Happy

:nana Have you ever tried calling out the Dog Warden? We were advised to do this, but needless to say, they always have
some reason for not turning up. I still think each office should send out there own flyers say twice a year to all housholds
reminding dog owners of their responsibility,

Last time someone here called the dog warden about a loose dog ,they were told if you can catch it and detain it, ring us back and we will collect it.

I encountered a dog on my second week in the job, and gave it a good old smack round the head with a sky mag, it went yelping off into the back garden :dance

  Sorry, still laughing at T.B.T,s post, and it got me to thinking about the kind of evasive action I have taken in the past to dodge angry dogs and people.Must look kind of suspicious to householders when they see their postie
peeking out from behind walls etc,I once banged on somebodys door seeking sanctuary, but no one was in!!

Fell over laughing True Blue :D

What's the problem though, after all, "he's never done that before!", "he won't bite", or "he's just being friendly" :arrrghhh
