The half hour of flexibility ( IIRC ) cannot be retro-actively applied....in English - if he doesn't call it on the day, he loses his chance ( otherwise you could have an easy week, then be expected to work an extra 2 hrs on the Saturday if it's heavy ). Unless someone with a better idea disagrees with me, go in tomorrow & book your docket - or say you will cut off next time.eian687 wrote:at least our vans arrived on time today

I don't suppose your mouth bleeds every 28 days, does it?

i know that you know that DIM knows that so does our rep..but it always seems rep is not in when he does it, and when we complain rep does nothing says if we go over 40 hours on the week we can try to claim, but DiM wont authorise

Well then, work your time and cut off - or get a copy of the agreement in your mitts, and flourish it the next time DIM Nice But Tim tries it on - don't bother getting the rep involved. If the DIM escalates things, then drag in the rep.....and if he can't be bothered, you might have to bypass him and go to your branch or area rep ( and maybe see if anyone will be prepared to stand against your rep at election time - if not, consider it yourself )eian687 wrote:smokerjim wrote:The half hour of flexibility ( IIRC ) cannot be retro-actively applied....in English - if he doesn't call it on the day, he loses his chance ( otherwise you could have an easy week, then be expected to work an extra 2 hrs on the Saturday if it's heavy ). For the first time in about a month I actually managed to complete a delivery on time
plus I only got slightly wet so, a result but next week looks to be a complete disaster (the manager has decided to punish several people by moving them around to duties that they don't know).
