Wonder how the price per item is decided. I would have thought they were a standard price per item as in door 2 doors. Does anyone know how its worked out?

5 pence per leaflet and per poll card.

For poll cards we mutiply our DP's by 2.5 to get the amount we claim for.

All this is a area aggrement in PE and CB postcode areas.

Mbrs in my office are very pleased with the aggrement, so well done to the two area delivery reps! :Applause :Applause

Apparently its a historical overhang from when local parties came to local agreements with Royal Mail, hence why some get 3p (me) and some get 6p

Any instances where Royal Mail attempt to undermine, disregard or ignore the National Agreement should be reported to the Outdoor Department as soon as possible.

Yours sincerely

Bob Gibson
Assistant Secretary
this is what bob says but when i e-mailed him and told him that our office was getting less than the minimum payment on poll cards good old bob said and i quote " if thats what you are getting then thats what you get"
Well i feel alot better now shafted by both sides so if anybody else fancies e-mailing bob DONT he dont care, but tell him he has to get less pay and maybe then he might care
