No Saturday off, ever!

exploitation by your co workers how low can you get big daz ? ours have a rotating day off i made sure we kept the 5 day weeks and not the wallingtons which they prefered us to have and after a period we now find more are going to 5 dayers as they get a break from the struggle to carry out dutys for weeks on end
(of course not withstanding the levels of mail which apparently are continuing there downward spiral if you belive the darkside) a rotating day gives everyone a fair crack of the whip and does ensure that fairness is seen working after all we don't want any discrimination of our fellow workers do we

Static days off ? Didn't know they existed, and certainly wouldn't want them either !
A rotating day off seems fairer to everyone. I might have to wait six weeks to get a "long weekend", but at least i know i'm getting one !

Been to a vote in 2007 and the vote was keep fixed day off by a large majority!!!!

Ballot paper vote rather than a show of hands

Im not the rep anymore so i cant put it to a vote again, that would have be decided by the area rep.

The facts are in my office all hell would break loose and the line keep voting untill you get what you want would be trotted out as it was when we did a vote last year on fixed duties to be implemented alongside pegasus.

If another ballot were to take place my personal preference is for a fixed day off just as other is for a rotating day off.

It is a clear cut case of DISCRIMINATION, no ifs no buts. Tell your DOM you are being discriminated against because you are a leave reserve. You have the same rights as any other member of staff and you want your entitled long weekends off or put in a HR1 form. Dont mess about, tell him straight. He hasnt a leg to stand on, they are just trying it on yet again.

it could be an equality issue and RM would not look good outside the PO , never all that touchy feely , cuddly flannel they put out .

you are entiltled to a long weekend every 6 weeks. i had this problem got it sorted and i was a resev.

go tell your dim that if you dont start to get long weekends off you will stick in a grev because of the less fav treatment you are receiving to those who are getting off at the weekends.
