Re: CWU FOUNDATIONS FOR A NEW DELIVERY MODEL
RML want pay to be a issue and when we go out they will spin spin spin that its all about wages and not all the other issues we are facing. The pay freeze is a trap, the question is how do we avoid the trap and manouvre RML into the trap?
Im happy with my wages, but that dosent mean I dont want to see a SWW,More leave, longer break.
Meal break needs to be 60 mins for FT 6 weeks leave as standard full pay for new recruits instead of this mickey mouse wait untill god knows when.
Deploy funds into all of the above IMHO!!!!!

Re: CWU FOUNDATIONS FOR A NEW DELIVERY MODEL
I think we've gone off track a bit here - it's about the CWU Foundations for a new delivery model - and that bears looking at again in the light of the latest LTB on shared vehicles, pay is a seperate issue but is none the less a very important part of any agenda. I don't think the CWU are as concerned what the new delivery model looks like only that they are part of the negotiations and that is a very dangerous premise.

"I think we've gone off track a bit here " What no humour here so you want to get back on track then? Got the measure of you, if you cant take the piss then we all need to get on track. Just retire and live the life! you add nothing to the rest of us!dvbuk55 wrote:I think we've gone off track a bit here - it's about the CWU Foundations for a new delivery model - and that bears looking at again in the light of the latest LTB on shared vehicles, pay is a seperate issue but is none the less a very important part of any agenda. Re: CWU FOUNDATIONS FOR A NEW DELIVERY MODEL
I think what Big Daz was saying is that yes Pay is an issue but it would be wrong for the CWU to make it the over arching, must win, line in the sand issue. TBH I agree Pay is an issue but Privatisation, Job Security, Modernisation with CWU involvement, protection of T&Cs and Pensions are the ones that need concentrating on at the moment. No point in having a pay rise this year if we loose out on everything else because then future pay rises will be smaller and attacks on our T&Cs will be large and more destructive.randompostman wrote:I think he must be if he thinks we should not make pay an issue! Yes we should have a pay rise and they should push for it, but its not the biggest problem we are facing is it.

Check his posts, you comment on 1 of them but I think, have not read the rest. He regularly takes the piss, and has it ripped out of him as well. But he also joins in the discussions and passes on good information.
So no you have not got the measure of him.

Re: CWU FOUNDATIONS FOR A NEW DELIVERY MODEL
Thanks for that TBT - it's true that I do not have a too serious look on things at this juncture, but it doesn't mean that I don't care what happens to colleagues I have worked with for many years and I would reiterate that the model for delivery does need to be looked at again, there are indeed serious issues involved and there should be a more measured approach to putting forward changes that, in my opinion, are not good for delivery officers. You cannot just keep having a longer delivery span and once again there is the issue of D2D, which is being mooted as a method of increasing work load BUT, and I'll say it again, it is already part of the existing workload because it is supposed to be prepped and delivered within the current span.TrueBlueTerrier wrote:I had to jump in here as you are so way off target.randompostman wrote:"I think we've gone off track a bit here " What no humour here so you want to get back on track then? Re: CWU FOUNDATIONS FOR A NEW DELIVERY MODEL
Have looked at many of his posts now and have not changed my mind. I think its wrong when an individual thinks they are so far above most others that they decide when a thread is off track or when its ok to take the piss and go off in a tangent, you either play the game or not and you can dance between the lines as much as you want but please dont be one thing in one post and another in another post. The fella is unhappy in his work union leadership and anyone that does not enjoy his train of thought and he will retire soon so whats the problem? he wants to take the piss one momment gripe the next and keep us all on track after that and it means nothing to me one way or another except i dont want to be lectured by a piss taker that dont seem to care about others as much as his own humour. So yeah i think i have got the measure.TrueBlueTerrier wrote:I had to jump in here as you are so way off target.randompostman wrote:"I think we've gone off track a bit here " What no humour here so you want to get back on track then?
