BILINGUAL warning leaflets about swine flu will not be delivered to some households until the middle of next week.
The Welsh Assembly Government said on Tuesday the flyers would be going out at the beginning of the week.
Yesterday a spokesman said: “The bilingual swine flu leaflets for Wales are being boxed today, ready to go to Royal Mail for distribution to households in Wales from Monday.
“The majority of households in Wales will have received the leaflet by Wednesday.”
Deliveries of flyers began in England and Scotland on Tuesday.
Fourteen people in Wales were last night being tested for Swine flu.
In total 71 people have been tested but no cases of the influenza have yet been confirmed.
Across the UK, 32 cases have been confirmed. All were responding well to treatment, the Welsh Assembly said.

We got ours on Wednesday, had till next Wednesday to deliver them, but except for about 30 (I ran out of them) I have finished mine today - only because I didn't have any other d2d's this week so thought I might as well get them done.

They think that by focusing on 'Swine flu' they'll distract us from what they are doing to us (as someone on Radio 1 said debt equals slavery, and I agree with him, we've al been sold into slavery just to keep the few in the style they've become used too).BELIAL wrote:Or,our leaders are vitally important ,and do indeed have a valid role, Unlike normal flu which ,on average kills 36,000 folks per annum in the USA,and mutates as often as the torys. This deadly and wickedly named Swine Flu Has to date done for one person in the entire continent of N.America.Smokescreen?

In particular, the weight of the items will now be 25g for the basic version, and 43g for the bilingual version due delivery in Wales. As a result I can confirm that the payment rates (including a 40% enhancement over regular payment rates) will be 2.45p per item for the basic version and 3.78p per item for the bilingual version.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: WALES - Swine flu leaflets arriving next week
my arithmatec out of pot.. shouldnt the bi-lingual have been 4.65pence? 25g for regular (2.45p), 43g (3.72p) for bi-ling.. 2 times (100%) 25g=50g=4.9p . work it out again lol.. if 25g=2.45p 50% of 25g= 12.5g, add 12.5 onto 25=37.5g (50% of 2.45p = 1.225p) add 1.225 onto 2.45 = 3.625p
so 37.5 grammes = 3.62p (which isnt far off 3.72p for 43 grammes) means rm are diddling someone.. usually in welsh when words are translated, the words are longer. lol

And if your calculations are correct, then it is as plain as pike that it is the workforce, the CWU footsoldiers who are inevitably being diddled. Of course nowt new there!johnsouthwales wrote:my arithmatec out of pot.. shouldnt the bi-lingual have been 4.65pence? 25g for regular (2.45p), 43g (3.72p) for bi-ling.. 2 times (100%) 25g=50g=4.9p . work it out again lol.. if 25g=2.45p 50% of 25g= 12.5g, add 12.5 onto 25=37.5g (50% of 2.45p = 1.225p) add 1.225 onto 2.45 = 3.625p
