Wacky postman Keith Lingard is cheering up locals by sporting a collection of zany hats on his rounds.
Keith, 54, from Addingham, decided to accessorise his Royal Mail uniform with a colourful display of headgear in a bid to make his customers smile.
So far, he has around 12 different hats, ranging from a jester’s hat with bells on, to a red and white St George’s day wig, which he swaps each day according to his mood.
He also has: a complete Father Christmas outfit, bunny ears for Easter, a ‘see you, Jimmy’ hat’ for St Andrew’s Day and an umbrella hat’ for when it’s raining.
“Everyone at works thinks I’m mad – even the bosses,” said Keith. It’s just a bit of fun.”
They are no worse than some that we've bee supplied with--in our office we would have been councilled for being out of uniform.Not kidding.
