And yet again the dog was not on a lead and or muzzled and the police let the owner go whilst the dumb animal will be destroyed for the owners criminal act!
True but a mastiff can injure someone just by jumping on them (it could knock me over and there's a lot to me :nervous ) and the injuries would seem to be minor whenever you consider the size and strength of the breed.

a few times scared the life out of me thought it was coming through the closed door !

Refusing to deliver their, and neighbours are terrified of this dog many nearby have young children.

The Dog is not a pit bull but similar, and I KNOW A BIT ABOUT DOGS ,IS DANGEROUS.

i feel sorry for the people living nearby, surley some thing can be done before the dog attacks and injures some one.

A question
why do you have to have a a tough looking dog ,with a stud collar to make yourself look hard.
Because the only have tiny penises :cuppa and a nasty dog makes them feel like real men.

Now, I've got to take my 6 Pitbulls for their evening terrorising the neighbourhood :nervous

Sorry to bump up on a old bit of a thread , but I've been reading these posts with interest .
Basically I live on a estate , many of us are householders , the scruffy end of the street is Council / Social Housing - Unfortunately I sometimes have to go into a shared lobby entrance and a intimidating alsation comes at me on a chain .

The owner is a scummy bully - Chav , he's already threatened family members and we're looking to nail him . However these people are very , very cute so we have to be cuter still. My Dad is not scared of dogs , they like him and he used to work with them in the services , and he finds the alsation intimidating . I WILL get even as nothing gives me more pleasure than sorting bullies out by whatever means and there are means ! .

However I spoke to the Council Dog Warden , a very nice girl , her view is that the Dogs Acts are far too wooly in places but have been toughened up in some places and it's very frustrating for her and her colleagues .

She was suspicious that the first dog a Bull Mastiff was changed for a Alsation . The Social Housing People tried to flannel me with all the dog let me stroke it and licked my hand b***ocks so I reported her as none of us liked her attitude . I get the impression she's had her arse smacked and she didn't like it , we're pushing for a v shaped gate on the chav scum's side to create an effective no man's land .

She won't like the pictures I've got of it straining at the leash going in the local rag either as they love chav bashing but I'm loathe to do it as it drags everybody down which is exactly what Chav's want in the first place .

Sadly this week, the death of another 11 months old baby in the U.S.A. mauled and killed by the family pit bull.

Police said the baby was sleeping in a bed on the first floor when the dog came into the room and attacked the baby, dragging him to the floor. The baby's father told them he came into the room and tried to get the dog off the baby. When he was unable to free the baby, he shot the dog.

Man dies separating fighting dogs

A man has died after he intervened in a fight between two dogs in Blackpool.

Police said the 21-year-old victim was bitten by both animals when he tried to separate them at a house in Reads Avenue on Friday evening.

The man fell over and may have banged his head, said officers. He was treated by paramedics but died later.

The dogs, which were both German shepherds, have been destroyed at the direction of the owner. The victim shared the house with the owner.

'Puncture marks'

Lancashire Police said the victim was attacked in the house in Reads Avenue at about 2000 BST.

"Both turned and made a sustained attack on him, making puncture marks on his upper body," said a spokesman.

"The owner of the dogs intervened and the dogs were dragged away."

The cause of death has not been officially established and a post-mortem examination will be carried out.

"We cannot dismiss the possibility he died as a consequence of falling in the course of this incident," the spokesman added.

Stephen Toward was treated at hospital for bites to his arm, finger and chest after the large black dog pounced on him and his West Highland terrier.

Three Council Bluffs letter carriers were bitten by dogs in the last 10 days while delivering mail, Postmaster Jean Susnjar said Friday.

Last year, there were no such cases, she added.

“We’re very concerned about the increase in dog bites to our letter carriers,” Susnjar said.

“These attacks do not have to happen.”

All three of those carriers received medical treatment at hospitals for their wounds, she said.

Fortunately, two of the dogs have had rabies shots, but they’re still waiting for results on the third dog, she added.

What’s more, there have been cases where dogs charged at carriers who were able to fend them off without being bitten, Susnjar said.

Postmen under attack by town's dogs:

THE age old enemies of dogs and postmen have been squaring up to each other again in Newton Stewart. Royal Mail has sent out an appeal to pet owners in the area to keep animals under control when the postman calls with mail. There has been a rise in dog attacks on postmen and women in the town with five since April 2009.
................................................................................................................................................................................
According to figures obtained under Freedom of Information by Endangered Dogs Defence & Rescue (EDDR), Merseyside Police have spent a total of £963,167 on kenneling, vet treatment and legal bills associated with the seizure of dogs in relation to section 1 of the Dangerous Dogs Act.Nearly £1m of tax payer’s money has been used between 2006 and 2009 (to date) by the Police force who, in 2007 seized 128 dogs, in 2008 seized 145 dogs and, at time of reporting, have seized 35 dogs in 2009. A total of 308 dogs in 2 and half years.

Section 1 of the Dangerous Dogs Act has been widely criticised as being unfair, ineffective and hugely costly to the tax payer for little or no return on investment.

The owner, Omar Fernandez, denies the dog is a pit bull, and says he is sweet and mild. He was furious Wednesday night, when he learned Miami-Dade Animal Services put his dog to sleep.

"That's my family to me, he's a family member, he's a pet, he's my family," he said.

Earlier in the day he had declined to discuss details of the attack, but said, "It was an accident. The dog got out and the mail lady reacted the way she did, and it was an accident."

He did not elaborate on how the mail carrier may have "reacted" or contributed to the attack. A woman at the home, who did not give her name, said, "Accidents happen every day."
