Postcomm today published a proposal to modify condition 20 of Royal Mail’s licence and condition 10 of other licences. This relates to what payments licensees must make to Postcomm in relation to the expenses of Consumer Focus and Consumer Direct.
This notice follows on from the modifications made in December 2008 to non USO licences and February 2009 to the USO licence. The modifications set out in the proposal notice are required in accordance with the establishment of Consumer Focus, the abolition of Postwatch on 30 September 2008 and the expansion of Consumer Direct.
Stakeholders are invited to respond to the licence modification proposal (pdf, 121 KB) by 29 May 2009.
