Actually on this one Johnnyp I think we should vote to withdraw funding from Labour at the Next General Election, but continue to support "loyal" MPs and activists and this would include those who signed EDM 428 as long as they continue to support our position when the vote is taken in the House of Commons.
As for a alternative for the Scots there is the SNP for the rest of us I think the Greens have more socialist principle than the PLP does. However, I do think that the grass roots of the Labour movement still want to be a party for the working class its just the the Labour Party controlled by the PLP has become more big business orientated, less democratic and less representative of its core vote.

But dont forget the the government do not and will not allow anbody who is not fully signed up to the new labour agenda to get a look in. Local parties can have new labour canidates from outside of their area parachuted in especially in strong labour areas. The Labour party internal structure and rules have been alterea lot to strenthen the new labour agenda dominance. The leader is unaccountable when in government and chooses to ignore party policy

When it comes to supporting some Labour MP'S the test needs to be a lot wider than just opposing a sell off of RM.
One of the prospective labour parlimentary canidates in my area is seeking election on a manifesto that includes that he will only vote with a Labour government if he agrees with them on the issue thats being voted on.
Another problem is that we vote for somebody to be our MP and not for a person to be the PM. If we get another Labour majority of MP'S in parliment and GB is still party leader then its still new labour all over again.
We need to see a big change in the LP and the PLP and we need to scarp the the rule that requires Labour MP'S to have a certain amount of nominations so those who are not full blown new labour can get a look in, the lack of this is after all why we have GB got i unopposed.
When ministers from the party that was set up to provide working class opinion in parliment are caught with their snouts in the trough and show no remore and even jusify their actions then its clear Labour is no longer suitable to run the country.
