I'm afraid that I think they're deliberately slow timing it - frightened of upsetting of upsetting any MP's that are anti Mandy's privatization bill .

Not sure what the game is , maybe it's to keep people onside - The Game Mandy has been playing is the - Nobody is bothered bar the Unions , he got blasted by a seaside town MP for saying that in one of Mandy's pep talk meetings , the MP thinks that might get more people to go against Mandy especially with a General Election in June 2010 and there are some marginal seats .
Apparently they are looking at finding Jacqui Smith a safer seat to contest as her present seat is too marginal .

The Relationship with the unions and Labour has always been either murder or divorce , I wouldn't say they'd vote for Mandy out of spite but it's a choice of being a career politician that stays on message or going on principles which means you end up as a jobbing back bench MP .

However come 2010 , some MP's will lose their seats permanently - I remember the one about the LibDem MP who opened a job centre , after another election she ended up signing on there .

Billy is a true Labourite and he's always pulled his punches either side of a General Election for fear of upsetting anyone / things .
