Well we have been doing it for 6+ months and by and large it has been accepted but there are still problems with packets/overtime. TBH although it is designed to alleviate weight over the shoulder it is nothing more than a method to get to the point of delivery, take the same pouch you would have taken anyway, have your pouches to hand plus of course the parcels and specials.Carew wrote:If anyone have done it for more than 3 months, let us know how well or badly it worked out ? Hence my point in the previous post of having a definitive way of delivery, one two or three bundles both working close up and moving the van every street or so, OR taking a pouch each with each having a key to the van, OR dropping one off with pouch drops and collecting him/her after delivery.
For those using hire vans, and none of our park and loopers use them because there is only a single set of keys, it would be better to have them swapped out for existing RED liveried vans with two keys if possible.
