Police are appealing for information after a break-in at a Royal Mail compound in Cumbria.

The secure facility at Bridge End Industrial Estate in Egremont was targeted between Thursday afternoon and Saturday morning.
Four Royal Mail delivery vans were broken into.

Numerous parcels were also taken from the locked shed inside the compound. Contents included DVDs and insulating screens for caravan windows.

That's another way for Royal Mail to save more money. Use a "locked shed" instead of a traditional brick built building.
