But get the major huff if someone p*sses on their chips & they can't get their own back ( for example, getting sent to another office to complete a delivery on overtime - but at OPG rate, not LM rate )!

Rest day's that fall on a Bank, or Public Holiday, mean that the employee should have a day's holiday credited to the A/L entitlement. It should be in the same leave year, the only exception would be on occasions when Easter falls early, and is to close to the end of the leave. This year Easter is at the begining of the leave year so must be taken in this leave year.

The Way Forward, A/L section actually states that you can only carry one week forward into the next year, and that is with the Office managers approval, so that in itself dictates rest days accured must be taken in this leave year. Any problems ask to have sight of the policy document.
