CWU FIGHTBACK
I would like to offer a huge round of applause and thanks to our comrades in Alloa for returning a massive yes vote in favour of strike action. I would also like to thank the CWU members in Cowdenbeath for their 1st round of IA on Friday under difficult and intimidating circumstances where there was 10 managers standing at the end of their frames when it was time for them to walk of the job. Alloa and Cowdenbeath have used the ballot box to register their trust in the CWU and there mistrust of RM. My hope is other offices will follow their lead to stand up to royal mails bully boy tactics of divide and conquer.

well done to the scottish units ,members and reps, who have stood strong , from the feedback i have recieved from my own area, all it seems is not so good, when elected reps allow unelected reps to act on behalf of the cwu ,unhindered, self preservation and self reward, will be the ultimate goal,
perhaps leadership and bravery ,trust and unity, are too much to ask for from todays current activists, steering clear of conflict is one thing, being a patsy is a completely different agenda altogether,an agenda which is in stark contrast to the position to which these activists are supposed to operate.quite simply ,either stand up an show leadership or sit down, better still ,resign ,scary that ? eh back to work

You on day off or still off? Unelected reps acting on behalf of the CWU surely not!

still off brother.. rather than our area rep doing his job for the unit .and standing by the national union,he has allowed members to work up duty proposals ,which are going to a vote for acceptance, giving up savings ,taking on extra workload, etc, rather than hold the national line, shameful behaviour, whats on offer vrs, wonder if the people selling this to the members will recieve a vr

We too are to be balloted. I believe up to 35 offices have asked for ballots so far. It's time the workforce said NO to RM'S bully boy tactics and divide and conquer mentality. :cfo
