This already applies to those from Commonwealth countries. If they serve 4 years in our armed forces they have the right to stay indefinately.

Actually you are wrong. It is 20! yes 20! years, or your legs blown off, THEN they can stay.

Only officers are signed on for 20 years, in the Gurkhas.
Riflemen are only signed on for up to 15 years, so would not be eligible.

I think they should be grateful that they are being maimed in employment ,lots of these foreign chappies are being maimed whilst out of work
