Least we also forget of the past treatement that was dished out by previous British Governments to the Nepalese Gurkhas.
"Today’s workplace has become heartless and soulless. Employees are seen as units of labour, automatons, functionaries, objects for achieving designated tasks, and as costs to be minimised."

then again, islam was born out of slavery... islam had it's problems.. originally, there was war on between the two factions.. what i don't get is that a religion formed 300 years after christianity claims to be peaceful. then again, the universe was born out of a violent explosion. life is strange.

1940: Thousands of Dutch people left the Netherlands and went to England.
1940-1945: The British government halted immigration from Germany and German-occupied territory immediately upon the outbreak of war.

This already applies to those from Commonwealth countries. If they serve 4 years in our armed forces they have the right to stay indefinately.disgruntledpostie1 wrote:And the current Governmentbrothermagrew wrote:Least we also forget of the past treatement that was dished out by previous British Governments to the Nepalese Gurkhas. In my mind any person signing up and willing to fight for this country should automatically be given citizenship and not have to fight through the courts to get what they should already have.

Only officers are signed on for 20 years, in the Gurkhas.
Riflemen are only signed on for up to 15 years, so would not be eligible.
