I agree completely with all of the above comments. The logic behind my sacking is also dubious.
The manager who dismissed me said my overall record was poor, and that I had several Stage 2s over 14 years,
but some of the Stage 2s that were issued to me were really crazy - and you have no appeal, as you know! :silenced

On the day of the outcome, my dismissal happened that fast that it felt like my feet didn't touch the floor!

Here's my version of the three-step process:-

1. Manager reads my case notes :cuppa
2. Manager 'carefully considers' my mitigation for being ill :Boo hoo!
3. Manager tells me i'm being dismissed :wave

On the day that you were told that you were dismissed did you get this in writing? Did you have a union rep or a friend in with you when you had the meeting with your manager, were you told that you could appeal against the manager's decision. In fact, were proper disciplinary procedures followed?

Hi, in response to your four questions :-

Yes, yes, yes and yes.

But there's always more to a story than that. :confused Gonna take this all the way.
