someone elses "year break" - is it going to effect me?

Post by resperin »

one of the "ex" employees wants to rejoin at my office, hes entitled to come back after his "year" break i believe. he took the break because he got ill, and decided to go around the world travelling. not saying its going to happen, but if my manager decided would he be able to move me to another office for him to return for him to come back to the office im working at/ or even get rid of me altogether, baring in mind im probably here in the first place due to him taking the "break

it would depend on your contract type, you may have a specific event contract. the specific event being his return to work, if this is the case then yes his return would end your terms of contract.

ah i see, my contract was a 3 month one which has extended i assume ;o so the chance of me having it terminated is unlikely, but whats the chance of me being moved to another office if the manager wants him over me etc
