They leave frond doors wide open when they are traipsing in and out-and if householder not in, I pregfer not to leave the mail, especially important stuff, because i feel it is not secure--I mark it up as such-but still waiting for the time

I've said this in previous topics on this subject. But with the current climate in RM why leave yourself open for conduct charges. Once you send them to the locker and they get returned to you after being cancelled which is what our locker staff do all the time its there problem we have followed the rules. I know what you say about them being cards etc but rules are rules.

as we have a dom who is on a purge for minor and major disciplines i would of put it in the office mail so they could deal with it..whose to say it wasnt a plant? in this climate and total lack of trust the last thing you want to do is giving them a chance to get you on the conduct code.its the same as doorstepping ,you think you are doing a favour but eventually something will go wrong.

A simple solution to all the problems regarding greeting cards? Why don,t the card makers state on each card what size postage is needed! A loss of revenue to RM.Our callers office had stacks of surcharge cards for Mothers day. So all the mums didn.t get there cards on Saturday. And will have to pay extra to get it now plus late.So there will be alot of upset mums and children.Who the heck thought up the idea of size and pricing should hang there heads in shame. As even i when buying a card have to check it out for postage!!!

The card makers won't put LL etc on the cards because they think they would'nt beable to sell the larger cards.
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

Most of the cards I've bought or received have had the postage on the back and one or two have had LL if thats the proper postage. I think it maybe more to do with people not knowing or not bothering to look.

Any item that comes to my desk gets delivered because I've no time to mess about whenever I'm on my prep, if someone in the MC can take the time to lift out an item of mail then measure it and weigh it and work out the relevent amount owed then they can at least put it into a Revenue Protection bag so that they all go to the RLE and not just thrown back into the general mail (after all that's what the handling charge is for :hmmmm ).

PS. I used that them all to the RLE but I got fed up with being told that they have been paid for and to deliver it (was once told that if it arrives at my frame then it's supposed to be delivered).

why is it being a jobsworth, that is what we are paid to do? if after doing all these little jobs like dead letters etc you do not have time to complete your round in the time it is the managers responsibility to get the round delivered not yours.
