Presumably you do? You'll get no compensation if you are not supposed to be there. What if there's a fire and you are trapped inside? No one will go looking for you if you didn't sign in.
Has anyone actually told you to do last weeks door to doors, or are you just doing them because they are there? Are you getting paid for four lots?
Communication is key. Ask your manager when exactly you are meant to be prepping your door to doors. Explain that you have been naive but now don't want to work for free anymore. It's the managers problem if door to doors aren't done when you are off, not yours. If there are four sets left out at the start of the week, ask him which three sets you have to do. Keep talking to your manager until he pulls his finger out.

I salute you

sounds like this is complacency and a lapse in security procedures. using a swipe to get into ur own building is always a pain in the arce to start with, human behaviour does not like hinderance and inconveniences in access to start, but there is a reason why to these locks is to protect the mail from unauthorised intrusion. eg theft and destruction. so, i take it that to obtain access is to either wait for someone with a key-card to come along or ring the bell hoping that somebody hears it and opens the door. in this day and age, this is unacceptable and royal mail are actually breaking their own security procedures.
and here comes avi cohen! oh i say! at the same end, he's got one back!!
That guy in the middle of the shot look suspiciously like Adam Crozier - does anyone know what his alibi was when this happened.
