Divisonal Jobs are not everyones cup of tea lots of travelling and pressiused meetings. The fact that there some elected unopposed could actually mean that they are recognised to be doing a good job by the branch` within their respective divisions.

It could mean that of course and it could also mean that people can't be bothered to perpetuate the system.

Yes but I would have won money if I had bet on the people I thought wood have been elected unoppoosed and in the main they are the Divisons who organise and construct policy across the Branch`s withnin their divisonal boundary. Its a matter of judgement but the variation of contract terms associated with Divisonal Reps status is attracive so if those Branch`s within the divisons were not happy with the incumbants then an election would have taken place.

To be fair thats quite a healthy set of ballots compared to previous elections. My Area Rep is Standing in South Wales / South West - Chris Webb of Plymouth and East Cornwall.

I dont know about any other Division but Chris is exactly what this Union needs!
