the end of the labour party?

Post by mailman71 »

with this bill to part privatize us going to parliament this week, this surely marks the end of our involvement with the labour party.
as a postman for over 30 years plus as well as a former member of the labour party, this action ammounts to nothing more than a betrayal of all the things the labour party were meant to protect.
even the tories under maggie never had the bottle to try and privatise royal mail but good old gordon and mandy seem to think there will be no fall out from this plan, what planet are they on.
the first thing the union must do is stop funding these labour frauds and start planning for the battle ahead.

what? like the labour party were meant to? the problem with this is that eventually, every party will end up the same, forgetting about the very people it set out to help. im sick of this shoddy government, but if they were not in power, the tories would be and i think they would be worse for working class people like ourselves. What do we do? are we totally helpless????????

lets just hope that there is a massive revolt against these plans to sell off our postal service.

MAKE SURE YOU ALL SEND OFF YOUR KEEP THE POST PUBLIC POSTCARDS TO YOUR MP AND ALSO SIGN THE E PARTITION. LETS DO OUR OWN LITTLE BIT AND HOPEFULLY THAT WILL HELP THE CAUSE.

I see your problem. To be honest .E-petitions ;contacting your MP ,it's all a bit like the HYS survey farce ,sham inclusion you vent your spleen get your "say" and the powers that be march on regardless. Window dressing pure and simple. We've all filled in enough of them to know it's a farce and a smokescreen.
There are lots of political alternatives out there, mostly minute right now ,but today, a day is a long time in politics :Very Happy
I like the ones where no one gets to be a career politician and their rewards are strictly controlled ie no big fat murky expenses and freebies, no ex gracia payments and no future pay offs as directors of companies whose interests they've served . Now if one of them said that they would nationalize all of the banks, insurance companies, utilities, transport system , I might be inspired :chuckle

It wasn't that long ago some people on this site were saying that keeping the funding going was a good thing as it would give us extra leverage from within. How do ya feel now guys!!!!!!!!.

sorry to sound defeated already but do you remember the iraq war etc no one listens
they just use the media to pick us off 1 by 1 and run us down and lie to the public to get what they want changed eg(fire service then the nurses etc)
the more banks the rich etc get helped all the time
whilst we get more in debt i'm beginning to believe in all the talk of the NWO!!!!!
it's all part of becoming a european state
all this money just can't disapear can it?

another example higher pension costs because we are living longer
but at the same the nhs states we are all going to die earlier because of more drinking, no excercise etc

sorry my rant over
