We still have them and nights as well, they wanted to get rid of nights last year but were told by H&S that the office was too small to accomodate the mail that would arrive during the early hours, yorks would be left in the very small yard exposed to the elements etc. So we still have nights and pre starts.

We have them, well only three in our office. To be honest they seem a bit of a waste of hours as they spend most of the time prepping their own walks.
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........

We have them too from 5 am, about 6 of us - 2 put the walk sorted into the IPS frames, 3 do packet sorting and 1 does the gas boxes, SDs and tracked, security camera. The ordinary staff start coming in at 6 through to 9.

not in my office some are still doing the pre starts after 6am. but if they do get rid of pre starts i reckon people will start coming in at 6am on the dot rather than 15-30 mins early. all in all, we'll be out the office 20mins later than we'd usually be, which will make a substancial difference on thursday-saturday as we just about tied up/ready to go at 9:30/10:00am

they try the same3 in ours but your talking 3-5 yorks so they end up putting some out just to get through them
one actually tried to have a go at me last week for clearing of my codas at 6am
i got them told that they should have a lay in instead of flapping and coming in early

They have a couple in our office but like someone else said, they seem to spend more time prepping their own stuff than anything else. The locker staff won't be opening up anymore though apparently and they'll be starting later.
